HISTORY OF POPPERS SENCO |
|
Proud of the past, focussed on the future!
Poppers has been a name in the market for industrial fastening systems for more than 95 years. Over recent decades, our company has grown into an internationally operating company with offices in six European countries and a very wide product range. The founder Isaac Poppers started his company in 1910 in Amsterdam, selling stamps, nameplates and office staplers. At the start of the Fifties, a customer drew his attention to a perfectly working pneumatic stapling machine. That was the start of a successful partnership with the American manufacturer SENCO. This brand, which is represented exclusively by Poppers, is the world market leader in the field of pneumatic stapling and nailing systems. The high-quality products, combined with a high level of service and reliability, created the solid reputation for Poppers. Over recent years, the company has grown to become an international distribution organisation with offices in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, and Turkey. Our growth strategy is evident by the number of company acquisitions in recent years.
